Unusual things to do in New York

The number, and the scale of the, buildings in Manhatten is awesome - it's almost dark at mid day in certain places, with the sky scrapers towering over you in all directions. New York is a great place to do some sightseeing and of course shopping! There are so many things to do in New York. We all know about the Statue of Liberty, the many great New York Helicopter Trips and the sightseeing boat and bus tours.

But as usual on this blog, lets take a look at some of the off the wall and unusual ways to have fun in the Big Apple, the city that never sleeps!

Starting at the top and falling quickly down to earth, how about throwing yourself out of a sky scraper, with a day at a New York Stunt School.

Or if you fancy a tour with a difference how about a Pizza Tour of New York (see the city and take in some of its finest Pizza), a New York Chocolate Tour, a Photography Tour of the Big Apple (learn some great photography techniques and get in the snaps as you see the city), or see New York with a Local (free tours given by pround locals who are enthusiastic about showing off their city) or see Wall Street with an Insider, or just give in and take a New York Shopping Tour - shop with a Pro!

You can even rent a supercar - although this seems a little odd to me - when I was there I don't think we ever got above 30mph. But I guess there are some great roads outside of Manhatten (or of course you could just use the car to pose and arrive in style!).

Want to see New York from the water and the road - then a duck tour could be the one for you - tours in an Amphibious Vehicle. Staying on the water why not take a Kayak Tour of the Big Apple. Or go a little faster with a Beast High Speed Road Ride.

Back on the land you can see New York from a Segway or take a Bicycle Tour.

And once you have done ALL of the above why not rejunenate yourself in a New York Spa!

Have a nice day!
