Unusual things to do in Barcelona
Barcelona is a great place to visit, and very popular with its Sagrada Familia and many other examples of great Gaudi designs. There is also the Las Ramblas, a busy walkway where it is apparently all to easy to get pick pocketed (not an activity limited to Barcelona by any means these days but be careful when visiting!) and the City's many improvements put in place prior hosting the 1992 Summer Olympics.
But what are the unusal things to do in Barcelona, if you are not interested in Gaudi, the Zoo and the Aquarium!
Oh and of course not forgetting the Sagrada Familia - a church they started building in 1882 and have yet to finish to this day (it's a standing joke here in Spain - "that's taking longer to finish than the Sagrada Familia" - a joke used many times by my local garage whom I no longer use!).
It probably passes many people by that Barcelona is in close proximity to the vinyards, and is especially well localted for those who fancy finding out more (and taking in the odd sample) of Cava, Spain's bubbly white, and much cheaper alternative, to France's Champagne. Why not try one of the many Barcelona Wine Experiences within the city or a short drive into the outskirts!
Or feeling eco how about taking in the sights of Barcelona by Segway, see Barcelona from an Eco friendly Rickshaw try a cycling tour of Barcelona, or a GPS guided gocar Barcelona tour, or rent a hummer and see the city from a Limo tour (not quite so eco friendly).
Feeling sporty - then why not take a tour of the Noucamp - the famous FC Barcelona Football Stadium (or the Camp Nou as it is known here in Spain). Or go quad biking, play paintball or try indoor karting.
Fancy a great view over the city and have kids - take a trip up to Tibidabo theme park - the trip itself it quite an adventure! Once there you have a great little theme park with stunning views over the city. Or why not take a scenic flight over Barcelona by Helicopter, Hot Air Balloon or light aircraft.
And what about trying an evening at Anti Karaoke in Barcelona - described as "a fusion between a rock concert, a Broadway musical, and a crazy house party".
Or take a look at the whole selection and you can decided what is unusual for yourself - Things to do in Barcelona.
Have fun in Barcelona
